Check out the first developer diary video for Hydrophobia.
I really wanted to enjoy this game, but i played the demo and it didn't catch me as a game i'd spend money on. If these improvements give the game that "edge" then i might make a purchase. Anyone know if there is a new demo out at all?
I see water. But what does this have to do with "fear of water"? Looks like an action shooter, not a horror :/
The sound of the pistol charging up / discharging is going to drive me nuts, I know it. I already started to bother me mid way through this 2 minute video.
Full respect to Dark Energy! Listening to the community and making changes based on their feedback shows this developer is more concerned with the quality of their games rather then the amount of money they make. I'm buying this game and I look forward to future releases from Dark Energy. Good job guys!
Wow. I was hesitant to purchase this due to the original feedback from players and the review but after reading this I believe they've addressed a lot of the gripes and improved it enough to warrant a purchase. :)
Wait do we have to buy this as a separate Xbox Live game or will it just be an update from the original game? Can someone please get back to me I'm rather confused :L
That's awfully nice of Dark Energy to make that many improvements on an already great game. I believe they have now made Hydrophobia into the best arcade game on the 360, and they should be given a bonus for that reason.
wow this looks awesome and its good to see that the developers take notice of what the consumers think. Now all they need to do is bring this to PS3...
This looks incredible. Gameplay looks smother than prototype. Water physics remind me of Sony's rubber ducky ps3 demonstration. Wish it was for PS3!!!
