Hulk isnt just another Movie game, the intense Beat-'Em-Up action and cheesy story are just loads of fun for anyone.
The gameplay is the star in this game and is very solid. The Hulk is angry and you can definatly let it out in beating the crap out of people in this game. With the Hulk you can jump, punch, grab, and of course smash everything. You can throw cars at soldiers, and beat up all enemies. Altough beating up enemies is a blast, it gets tedious after the first 2 hours. Youre constantly beating up the same soldiers throughout and this makes you feel like youre doing the same thing all the time. But lucily boss fights and huge battles make this tedious beating up masquearade less annoying. Hitting enemies also doesnt make you feel like the Hulk, you must punch little soldiers at least 4 times before dieng when in reality a flick of his finger would snap our nekcs, butr still this is just a game. The boss fights in Hulk are great and challenging, You will face other "Hulk knock-offs" that think theyre stronger than you, but you prove them sadly wrong. Also there are great action set peices were you must fight literally huindreds of on coming soldiers. This Set piece is very fun and will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the 20 minute battle. There are also moments were you play as bruce banner and stealhthy move around enemies, these missions give the game stealh and give the game a break from just constant butt kicking. There are also puzzle mini games that make you macth certain numbers to a set of numbers, you play this while being the human banner to unlock doors. The gameplay is very solid and kids to adults will love it.
The story has nothing to do with the movie and quite frankly its not that good. But still the stupid plot thats all over the place makes it fun and you just want to know what stupid thing happens next.
From a graphical perspective, this game is a good looking PS2 game. Its decent but nothing top of the line, the cut scenes looks great and the in game playing is smooth and never lags or glichtes.
All in all the Hul isnt just another Movie game that sucked, Hulk doesnt even feel like a Move game. its just a blast to play.
