The worst first-person shooter game I have ever played in my life.

Expect this review to be a rage filled rant because after playing it Hour of Victory is baaaaaaaad. This game is bad. I mean how could the same people who gave the planet Earth Mortal Kombat sink so low? For all you people who complain about too many games imitating Call of Duty like Homefront and are saturating the gaming industry, F**K YOU!!...because at least Homefront wasn't as bad as THIS! It's obvious that Midway made Hour of Victory to cash-in on the popularity with Call of Duty and I can't blame them, it was 2007 and everyone was excited for Call of Duty 4, they were kind of pressured to make a FPS. But of course the developers tried to make the game play different than any other FPS by putting 3 playable characters for different purposes. How does this work? I'll explain later but first I must get through the most painful of Hour of Victory's tortures. The gameplay. OH GOD! the gameplay. I cannot tell you how much anger and insanity I had to put myself through just to "play" the game. The shooting is awful as most guns I've experimented virtually does the same amount of damage to enemies, there is no variety between the weapons and are completely useless, the only weapons I've found effective are the German MP-40 for the large amount of ammo you can find and the shotgun for the one-hit kill damage when used at close range. And it gets worst with the glitches that plague the gameplay for example there was incident when an ally got shot by an enemy sniper and the ally "bounced" up and fell over dead before the sniper fired his shot. WTF?! What kind of programming is this? And also the guns don't respond to button presses well. I don't know if it's my copy of the game only but if not than this is just lazy on Midway's part. Now let's get on with Hour of Victory's main feature which are the characters you can play through the story (there's nothing much to expect from the story than "You're the good guys, their the Nazi guys, grab a weapon. GTFO".) and they have different features to get through secret or alternative areas of the game. And how does this effect the gameplay overall?
*Perry Cox grabs microphone* "Nothiiiiiiing!"
What are these features you say? Well when I was playing as some American guy and across a set of barbed wire I can use a pair of pliers to cut them and opens a new area to go to and find...some ammo...well whoopdy s**t. And on the same playthrough I've found a rope to climb, but I can't because I not playing as the appropriate character to use it. WHAT?!?! The guy I'm using doesn't know how to use a rope?! Why have this in a game? To handicap you so you can't find any secrets? I have to restart the whole level to change characters just for a s**tty weapon or ammo? F**k YOUUUUU!
Hour of Victory is one of the worst shooters I have ever had the eternal misforture to play through and it deserves my lowest score of 1/10!
Do not play this game ever if you value your cash, your gaming life, and your own sanity.
