Is This Serious?

User Rating: 2.5 | Hour of Victory X360
Hour of Victory... just no. I appreciate the fact that it tries to bring back the WWII Shooter Genre but it just does not come together at all. The visuals look like something off the PS1 and the game plays just about as clunnky as a PS1 shooter. Hour of Victory was seemingly put together by a team that did not communicate with each other through the whole process which looks and feels like it was tossed together one drunken night. The sound quality might be the worst part of the game with guns sounding like firecrackers and the accuracy is similar to that of a bottle rocket with no tail (try it and get back to me, they turn sketchy with no tail.)

The game doesnt seem to resemble any particular WWII settings or events so I had to assume that the developers were the ones who slept through History class. Hour of Victory tries to be Call Of Duty and Medal Of Honor but it just cant keep up with two series that have mastered the art of WWII combat (Brothers In Arms is another title that does WWII right).

To be fair to the game and why I put it in the 2.5 range is because I only played the demo. That was all it took to make me relize that the game was not worth 60 dollars and on behalf of the develoers I would like to formally apologize to anyone that paid full price for this game, or even paid half price for this game. At best it should be sold for 3 dollars and some pocket lint which even then might be overpaying for an unfinished product who tried to hard and wanted to be so much more.
