A puzzle/adventure you'll love reading like a book from start to finish.

I am surprised as to why there isn't much press about this game when it's surprisingly great. It resembles point-and-click games like myst, which a lot of people loved for the deep storyline and also hated for the epic time needed to read all those.

In Hotel Dusk: Room 215, it's actually enjoyable to read the dialogues! It's witty and well-written. The characters' expression when speaking are really right on the spot, not like in other games that you'd just see a static avatar and read a multitude of text below.

Here, using Rotoscoping technique, the scene feels like you're reading a comic book that's actually alive, and as a result, players get a solid feel of interactivity. The pacing can be slow, but you'll hardly notice it because of the beautiful animations during a conversation.

Puzzles can also be challenging but not insanely hard, given time. If you love Professor Layton and the Curious Village, think of the game as the 18+ version as it has a more darker feel to it.

I am really looking forward for possible, future sequels or similar. They should make more games like these that aren't just shallow creations to milk an idea dry.

But of course, if solving puzzles and mysteries aren't your thing, stay away from this game all the way.
