It is an interesting story line if they can make it work.

Last years' games are all about war and armageddon...We've seen Russians surviving in Metrotunnels, Americans also surving a Fallout. An alien Crysis nearby North-Korea, and in a world where people where Half-Alive. The Endwar of all wars. A game with the whole World in Confict. 2 wars about resources: In the Battlefield of 2142 and the near the Frontlines fighting for Fuel. There's even an Armageddon going on on Mars. GIVE ME MORE!!!

It definitely has some of the same stuff from frontlines, the red star jeep, the rocket launcher, seems like it is a sequel, thats my guess anyway, looks so cool, cant wait!

@ l33tek Wouldn't they be a bit older than 13 if they were born in 1984? I mean, people of that age, as long as they aren't total douchebag losers have probably seen either one or both. Some people simply just aren't into anything like those films, it's not their fault. Some people just don't get it, doesn't mean you have to get all upset. Anywho, I think this game could be extremely interesting. It has a very post apocalyptic vibe, but not in an aliens or zombies way. I think if the gunplay matches the script, we're in luck.

I'm beginning to think that 80% of the haters are under the age of 13 and therefore have never seen Red Dawn or Apocalypse Now. Apparently not a fan of Frontlines franchise. Red Dawn came out to theaters in 1984, was your umbilical cord being cut that year? The key word here kids are, Pretend. Plausible. It would be if the North Koreans were the new superpower in the world, who have taken back their neighbors to the south and are now invading the U.S.. Set in 2027, when the world is suffering through a severe energy crisis. American civilization has collapsed. In that case, um yeah we would be very vulnerable to attacks.

China, maybe. But North Korea? They barely have enough fuel supplies for there own country, let alone a war. Not only that, but the graphics look...like a well done Half-Life 2 mod. That's not to say they look bad...they just look like they were slapped togeather.

North Korea Defeated the United States? At around 00:44 the there was a truck that looks like the same truck used by the Red Star Alliance from Frontlines Fuel of War. Is Homefront a sequel to FFOW?

Sorry, but when I heard that the occupant force is North Korea, the whole things just lost all credibility for me.

It has the same art style look of Halflife, but I didn't see any sci-fi tech or aliens. So it looks more like Red Dawn or Jerico to me. Which makes since if it was written by the same guy who wrote Red Dawn! :p
