Looks nice
as far as i think it is, is that Korea becomes the mighty country while USA becomes the country with much civil unrest, and wouldn't it give more sense to attack China first?
That. Was. Amazing. And you know what's scary, it could actually happen. For those of you who don't know, the Korean War never actually ended :P
hey, were not fighting russians in this game. thats a surprise
Looks sow sweeeeeet:D
Looks like I'm moving to Canada again.
looks pretty cool
WW3
Korea would get they're but kicked no matter what we will win
This game looks pretty sweet... I am especially excited for the story... it is plausible...
Japan would never surrender to Korea. Never.
I would wanna see a game that lets you invade America and steal all the apple pie.
wow looks awsome
I just heard on the news that South Korea proposed combining back into Korea.
This looks like a good idea and I believe it will be a very interesting game. I just hope people look at Homefront only as a game and dont start hating korean people or asians generally. Im just saying that there are a LOT of stupid, fanatic, indusable and racist people in this world!
@benny32 Freedom fighters was bad-ass! Would love another, best part was the change in seasons and how you char changed too. Good times.
this reminds me of the game freedom fighters which was awesome :D i personally don't have a view on communists and always find stuff where america gets a slap funny. its a game that ill be watching and looks good to me so far
@dmadrfe shut the hell up you commie
way to give them a head start, i blame obama lol
BTW, in response to many: EA's Cysis already had the North Koreans in their game, as a great threat to the US of A
Great trailer, reminds me of the trailers of Ubisoft's EndWar and Acitvision's Call of Duty: World at War. Kinda good story... ''A new NK communcations sattelite has been launched, giving the world a word of peace....EMP STRIKE'' ROFL
@ZarboneD what are you talking about? Japan, although their constitution prohibits, does have adequate defense forces, called JSDF. Type 90 MBT? F-15J? They even have Hyuga class Heli Carriers. They are more than match for NK for now, though in fictional world where NK do have resources of SK, not sure.
@ZarboneD good point. thanks for clearing that up mate!
@ZarboneD - Although I get your point your understanding of what is going on in the world isn't very correct. Plus North Korea isn't much of a threat to the USA, I mean I wouldn't be suprised if there are a thousand nukes that the US have positioned in South Korea and Japan alone.
Game looks Amazing. World in Conflict, the RTS dealt with a Soviet Russia invading in the early 90's I have to admit, when the campaign in WIC took to me to Washington state, i couldn't believe myself. It was a lot of fun rolling tanks down streets and trough parks that I grew up in. @Isshiah, If this were real; The fact is it wont matter if you don't have an emotional connection to the US. When we perish and wither away; Russia, Communist China, North Korea, Iran, and Egypt are all going to try and fill the power vacuum. With the Fictional annexation of the Philippines Australia will be cut off from the Common Wealth, and Effectively the rest of the World. I think they should tie more world politics, and especially the situations and relations with the US' allies, this would definitely start to get more foreign interest in the game. I do agree that since they have put the US vs NK in its own "ship in a bottle", that this game wont receive much praise overseas. @tanzil_ The US is currently the defense force for Japan, so when we recalled all the troops from the pacific that just leaves Japan with a civilian police force to defend their country.
Pretty cool little background vid. Certainly got my attention, I'll be following this to see how it plays out :P
i hope you can play as the koreans .
sounds cool but seeing as i'm not american, i dont have an emotional connection to the fact that america specifically is being overrun. nevertheless its still a creepy premise.

That's pretty cool, but um, too soon maybe?
@ goggle1 that's what i was thinking (about it being a weird time for this to come out, taking in mind what is happening at the moment)
yes it is looks like COD WOW starting cinematic, also it is quiet similar to what we have seen in Operation Flashpoint: DragonRising
you know the first thing that comes to mind when i see this trailer is the loading screen in between COD: world at war. Am i right?
@MrGingerG Touche my good sir! but that game involved New York city and not the entire country as opposed to Homefront which has a wide scale invasion coming from Canada!
@ziv_ew what are you talking about MW2 is just about Russians "invading"? the Russians invade America by the 6th mission! meaning for the rest of the game, which is somthing like 15 more missions you are dealing with an occupied America. For example the Washing DC mission. All i'm saying I think these guys are wrong to say they are the first to come up with this idea. @ele975 fair point. but what about Freedom Fighter? That was long before they even thought up this game. Its allll i'm saying
I will track and hope it is worth playing.
But... after the emp hits... shouldn't Jessica Alba be America's last salvation? Maybe we'll run into her in Seattle. (Sorry. Watching my Dark Angel DVDs today.) Anywho, it's an interesting-enough setup to keep me interested, though I never played/heard of Frontlines. I'm keeping an eye on this one.
looks like outright propaganda to me. Also can we keep Hilary's ugly mug out of games please?
Dorgoth12, Too much Medieval 2: Total War?
and while the rest of the world fight.... the Vatican army rises up and unifies Italy forming the Popish Alliance! There's Homefront 2 for you.
This game looks SWEET. Love the storyline, no matter how far-fetched. This is a brilliant idea to keep it similar to what's been done (Metro 2033, COD4, Fallout3) and give the storyline a slight twist. Including recent media in the game is also a stellar idea...I think this will make it extremely immersive. Can't wait!
This comes at a weird time with all the tension between North and South Korea and the "I'm a Korean" song on youtube. I think it will fit very well with what is happening. So before 2027, move to the UK where I live as it doesn't seem like we'll ever be invaded.
Looks like it fallows frontlines vary closely! Cool............. Though I'm not going to buy it.
great trailer...gives me chills
Epic WIN!
A really well designed trailer. Very impressive.
"japan surrenders". that would NEVER happen, I guess he's trying to stress how much of a powerhouse the Korean forces are, maybe japan was in a crisis? Hope the story keeps sane, we don't want another Modern Warfare 2 now do we?
