Homefront User Review
Boring, had to 'force myself' to finish it. Terrible graphics, boring storyline and characters, 4 hour Single Player.

Homefront, what a disappointment. I wasn't rushing through the game and it still only took me 4 hours to complete the single player campaign. The story is boring, the characters are boring and you couldn't care less about them, they try to shock you with attempts at tense scenes, usually of what the soldiers would do to those they occupy but sometimes that's on the other foot but either way, it's not that moving. You can tell they tried to make you care but they just couldn't pull it off. The graphics are pitiful. If you've played Risen, they're like that sort of (to be clear, I liked the game Risen, but the graphics were under par, everyone except a fanboy/girl agrees to that). I have a high end gaming rig so it's not that, they just sucked. AI-friendly, not that helpful but opposing AI wasn't impressive either, so I didn't tend to need the help. Follow this person, do this, follow this person, do this, that's the game in a nutshell. For people like me who like sniping in a game, there is some in Homefront, but it's few and far between and very unrewarding. This game is definately a try before you buy, under no circumstances is it a full price purchase. That's a complete waste of money. This game ran smoothly for me, no problems there, but I heard a lot of people having problems with it not running well. That's the only good thing I can say about my experience with Homefront, and I really 'wanted' to like this game, it just couldn't deliver.
Let's recap- Boring story, Boring characters, Crappy graphics, Bad AI, Boring objectives/gameplay, 4 hour Single Player Campaign. Oh, it ran o.k. for me, but a lot of people have problems getting it to run well for them. PC price: $50= Not Worth It. *You've been warned.
