There are some games that come along that make you want to play them. Those reasons could be either the story, the concepts, or even the voice-overs. However, most of the times it is because some of those are intertwined along with the character that you play. Who would turn down being an elite and all around bada** hitman with a cool name like Agent 47. I am not really a fan of the series so I think that this would make me a good candidate to review this game.
Firstly, I played the first Hitman on the computer and then on PS2 in Hitman 2: Deadly Assassin. I tried but I just could not get past certain flaws that the game had. Not because I am picky, but because they really stick out. So here I am again trying in Contracts and I find there to be the same thing. I will compliment the game by saying that you do get to visit some of the most craziest places that actually exist especailly the sex-den. I will say that the game also gives you a bit more tactical feeling to it in allowing you options on your kills. But I just could not break the feeling that something was missing.
The graphics are not bad for what it is worth but the gameplay excels the first PS2 title. Although a bit clunky, there really isn't much more that I could say to put the game down except I felt detached from my character. The ending was a bit surprising but I just could not get into it. I think the game needs to be a bit more immersive as far as letting players really be a hitman and plan their hits and utilize evertying to their advantage.
It felt more like a ordinary action game to me that gives you some killing options but it was just flat. I felt like I have been here before but from some other game. Hopefully Blood Money will help change my opinion and finally let me be Agent 47.

Hours of gameplay are warranted by the sheer number of ways each hit can be carried out.
