Dull, repetitive, and a true hack n' slasher. It's a shame it doesn't really do anything particularly right.

For the first few levels the game is quite easy and is quite an enjoyable button masher which is perfect if you're not looking for anything deep and involving. The story is there but is not intrusive and allows at least some partial involvement in what is going on.
The problems arise though once the game's difficulty ramps up considerably within the space of a few seconds. Now the game is not as simple as it started out being but it remains as repetitive as it did before but now it's not quite so fun. The suggestion is to reply the earlier missions to level up but they aren't really worth playing once - let alone twice.
For a game that packs a lot of enemies on screen, it has pretty decent graphics even if they aren't anything spectacular. Unfortunately almost every enemy is exactly the same as the next one. The only time you'll get a new look for an enemy is when it's a different type. All the enemies in the same class look identical.
If the fighting was slightly easier then the achievements would be a breeze. As it stands they are quite hard to get as you need to fully complete each storyline for each character which is a bit of a stretch.
To sum up the game it's a generic hack n' slasher that will only appeal to hardcore fans of the genre. Anyone else should think twice about this game - however cheaply you can get it for.
