When Fallout3 first released, the game had numerous bugs that the community had to fix through mods. Bethesda released patches from 1.1-1.4 that created more problems. VATS became slow and the numbers became all messed up. There were also crashing problems created from the patches. Then they released patch 1.5 that fixed couple problems, but broke many of the most wanted mods. Bethesda developers ignore the community and only rush to release DLCs to sell. The game by itself without the mods is really a 6.0 rated game. Being back in the fallout universe can fool you into thinking it's a 9.0 for several hours of play. Then the hype dies down and you notice the poorly developed characters, story, environments, city layouts, combat, npc balance, transportation, etc. Bethesda should hire new people and maybe Todd Howard should take a break too.
