The main plot-line of Conker's Bad Fur Day is here, the story goes like this : Conker, who is at a bar getting wasted calls his girlfriend Berri and undoubtedly tells her he is going to a war. But after he wakes up with one hell of a hangover he learns he has gotten himself lost, and now has to find his way home. The game starts from there and you will learn many things from Conker's day on how he became king of all the land.
Conker Live and Reloaded still has some problems that the original suffered from such as some-what wonky controls and some often occurent camera angles. But put the problems aside as they do not hurt the amazing experience much. The reason it is called a platform game is becuase of so much jumping, but not so much here as there is tons of shooting. There is quite a bit of vehicle control in the game ( including multiplayer ) and are tons of fun. The shooting aspects of the game are done very well by the fact that the enemies don't really pose a threat as their firepower is somehwat lacking compared to yours. Even though the it is a rehash of a five year old game doesn't change the fact that it is still fun as hell.
It seems that Rareware are pimps of the Xbox for one reason, that reason is becuase of the superb graphics. We all knew the Xbox was powerful but not that powerful, as this game looks better than some 360 games. The detail in the enviroments and the characters is some of the best that I have ever seen, and probably wever will see this gen. With the graphics so well done the blood and gore also looks tremendously amazing, with body parts flying a blood looking like jelly. Although the graphics are some of the best seen on the planet I did hope the same could be said for the animations, even though they were very well done they could have been better. I am astonished to see graphics on this high of a level and hope Rareware makes much more beautiful games.
This game is filled with hilarity especially in the voice acting, which is very good by the way. Conker was known for it's hilarious parodies and jokes, and this version is no exception either. The jokes are still intact same with the parodies but almost all of the cuss words were taken out, which may dissapoint some fans of the original. The voice actors do a good job of portraying the characters and their lives in the hellish world they live in. The orchestral score is one of the best I have ever heard, but sometimes is a little wierd compared to other musical scores. I have never heard the original game's score but I bet it is just like the one in Live and Reloaded.
The game clocks in at about 10-14 hours in length for the single player campaign and the multiplayer will have you hooked for more. Many people said that the multiplayer sucked but for a fact it doesn't suck at all, they just suck at the game. The multiplayer has you going through the SHC or Tediz war campaign which is really fun. You can play over Xbox LIVE, well unfortuantly I do not have LIVE so I can not write about it.
If you played the original then you really have no nedd to pick this game up, but if you are like me and never played the original then I suggest you pick it up.
