An objectively good game that I couldn't enjoy.

I don't expect my review to be all that popular on this page...

With that said, honesty is more important to me than sugarcoats. Hitman Blood Money, in my opinion, is a well made game that I couldn't...really get into.

I'm just as confused as you are. My review feels alien; I look around and everyone is praising the game for its fun gameplay and innovative mission-style.

So yes, the problem is probably with me, but it doesn't change my opinion. Opinions are emotional at root, and thus, I feel that artificially inflating my impression of the game would just come off sour.

The game looks fine. The voice acting is good. The mission variety seems enticing, and the assassinations can be fun. I...however, just can't get over how -patient- you have to be. I once did nothing expect -stand- for about 6 minutes waiting for someone to get under a trap I set. Realistic? Yes. Fun (in my opinion)? Noooo (not even including the time required to set up, figure out what's going on, scouting, etc.)

I'm pretty sure in another lifetime, I probably could've enjoyed this game, but honestly, it started to get tedious for reasons unbeknown to me. Things started to get less and less intuitive. To be candid, I -literally- started getting a headache. The map wasn't all that easy to follow, and my objectives all seemed draped.

Clearly, I was not the target audience for this game, and thus, my review. No game can please everyone, no matter how well it is made. Too bad I wasn't able to enjoy this game; I surely wanted to. In the end, I suppose my opinion will fall into the minority.
