The original assassin has returned in this deadly new gameplay trailer for Square Enix's Hitman Revolution.
hitman absolution is my favo i like 47 i want marry with him:D
oh yeah
please don't fail
Hitman is special, so we have a special situation here. Back to costume and stelth world.Welcome back specialist, your funs salutes you.
Non-lethal except for hits 100% stealth Final destination
Ah, good, he's back...now I just need to convince him to carry out a hit against the guys who put together the "Hitman" movie.
Hitman: Absolution a very special game
You guys have to watch the gameplay for this trailer! it looks pretty much like the same old Hitman except with this see-through-wall-track-your-enemies thing. and the stealth kills are even more brutal! But nothing will beat good ole fiber-wire.
hope they dont turn it into slinter cell conviction. that game sucked. i just want classic hitman where bodyguards always piss in bushes.
God i would trade this for battlefield 3, Dam i want both but id prefer this in october and bf3 in march but it sucks.
Can't wait for this! Seriously!
Very disco. Love it.
About damn time. Hopefully they don't make it an action game and leave the great stealth mechanics intact
he's truly a hitman. been tracking the whole series.
must buy for me. i have all the hitman games.
been waiting for ya buddy...........:)
if they could only make an open world assassin/hitman game, pick up contracts when you feel like it, almost a red dead but for a hitman or pirate would be cool too
Winner of 19 E3 awards..? All they showed was a snake wrapped around his twin pistols :P Quality stuff though, my bet is a release of March.....
Did they keep the stealth aspect of the game at least? I don't want this game turning into splinter cell conviction...
@CLOCKWORKIAN thx!
James Bond would have been annihilated if he faced of against Agent 47
good game.
The police just don't get it... You can't catch Hitman, period!
This game series is part of my childhood... Bring tears to my eyes to see it rose again :)
very good, looking forward
Stealth... not really.
Can't f*ckin wait!
The graphics engine looks pretty good
Looks very similar to the concept of SC: Conviction
Well... that sure looked stealthy!
holy **** cant wait!
Looks sleek..
The reason they couldn't get the voice actor for 47 (David Bateson) has nothing to do with Bateson. He's not dead, he wanted to do it, but IO gave him the cold shoulder and has basically put him on the ignore list. Terrible thing to do to a great voice actor, I wish they could change their minds, but I'm still looking forward to the new game.
The last part of the video gave me hope to dream in a good old classic hitman game like "Blood and Money"
@RO-nln187 Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWf3dPKYf1E&oref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fresults%3Fsearch_query%3Dhitman%2Babsolution%2Bgameplay%26aq%3D1%26oq%3Dhitman%2Babsol&has_verified=1 And I'm sure there are several reasons why they couldn't get the voice actor. Either way, it's a shame. Alas! Enjoy the video!
Names are for friends so i don't have one.
Trailer looks great...... I really hope Absolution is a step up from Blood Money and away from Kane & Lynch.....more stealth, less massive shootouts and tons of options to take out targets.
@TylerVanderyt Yeah,me too,I want a release date! I just hope they wont remove all those things that made Blood Money so great.
@Rocker6 Blood Money was a FANTASTIC game. Absolutely incredible. I also just replayed it and even after doing it before, it still is so much fun to try to do things differently. I was STOKED when I found out they were finally making another one. Can't WAAAAIIIIITTTT!!!
this trailer will probably be the tutorial level.
Looks fine, but too action orriented.Hopefully the game wont play like that,I want more slow paced Hitman, with open levels filled with a lot of ways to complete my objectives. No better feeling than playing a level without getting detected, and without killing anyone, except targets with "accidents".Blood Money was an awesome game for me,even today its great, replayed it few months ago.
Looking good. Now if only we could get some news on Thief 4. :(
He's like Batman without the pointy ears.
HELL YEAH, Hitman, sock it to them coppers.... you are the FU%&ING BEST, HITMAN!!!!! can't wait for this game.... so incredible graphics and gameplay that i am drowling.... Hitman, you are thy man!!!
after an unnecessarily difficult amount of searching I managed to locate the play through video that they refer to at the end of the video, so I thought I'd post it here to save you guys the trouble http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWf3dPKYf1E
@CLOCKWORKIAN what 17 min trailer? got a link? and about the voice acting... of course its a bummer if the actor is changed but sometimes you cant get the original one, maybe he didnt want to do it, maybe he died... but there are other talented voice actors as well, i dont think they would take just anyone...
looks awesome, i hope they dont change too much... in an interview they said that they wanted to appeal to a bigger audience and make it more accessible but that sounds more to me like dumbing down a game for the rookies... ill just wait, hitman is a must have anyway...
I really dig the Hitman series so I hope this one doesn't disappoint. The graphics look very nice, I just hope it sticks to the old school formula and doesn't just become an action fest like Splinter Cell has.
(CONTINUED) What I am interested to know now, though is how the actual structure of the game will go? Will it still be the same open-ended assasination settings with parts like this trailer sprinkled throughout? Or is this going to be a less linear affair? I hope it is not the latter, for I think changing the structure too much will destory the essence of what makes the Hitman games Hitman games. But I am very optimistic as to see where this latest game goes. Nice to have you back, 47.
I just watched the 17-minute traielr and was very impressed. The scripted A.I. is great and very life like with solid voice acting. I especially enjoyed how much the young police officer that 47 took hostage was freaking out. I was actually shocked and a little sad when 47 snapped his neck. But that is great, I think. I think it's great when games try to show acts of violence as awful as they really are. They did a good job in conveying that you are ending a life at that moment and cements, yet again, what type of character 47 is. I really enjoyed the graphics and the lighting and mood. The dark setting and rain reminded me of "Contracts". Also, the moves that 47 utalizes seem very refined; truly an evolution of the series. To nit-pick, I think it would be nice to see 47's suit get dirty and ragged as he was running form the chopper. But that only came to mine because the rest of the game looked so good and detailed; I'd say that could be a good game component when going into disguises. Also, it seemed that 47 was portrayed by a different voice actor. If this is the case, than I am very dissapointed; I have been a fan of this series and have enjoyed the vocal talents of the orginal voice actor and I detest it when video games change them. It shows a lack of care for their character, to me, but it's obviously not a game breaker. (CONTINUED)
