Like a big fan of 47's story i had big expectations about this one but is this the greatest of them all? Hmmm...
The story is well written with the aspect of change and surprise with a few twists that we didn't expect. It's more personal for 47 and this time we don't see him only as the cold blooded assassin.
The gameplay is far different from the last titles, it makes you feel like the character itself and it's not just kill-escape. The player is free to go guns-blazing or be a real silent-assassin with a lot of ways to kill the target, Challenges are present in the game to make you pay attention to some details that you'll probably won't see if you rush just to complete the game.
You also got a Safe House that allows you to customize your weapons but i didn't find it very useful in the Story Mode 'cause you always find the right tools for a kill if you pay attention.
Instinct Mode allows you to see hints, the movement and reaction of the AI and makes the game easier for beginners or for people who just want to see the story. You have various Difficulty Levels which can make a game that is playable by everyone only playable for the real assassins.
You'll see a fluid movement on 47's actions throughout the game that are powered by the Glacier 2 Engine with amazing graphics and detail. The engine can render huge crowds and intense action with no problems.
Besides the Story Mode that makes you play the game without getting bored we have Sniper Challenge that was a mini game for pre-order, a standard assassination with a Sniper that also can be done in many ways with a lot of great and fun challenges. And Contracts Mode a online competition for assassins that allows you to create contracts or play some made by others, it's a great challenge for the competitive part of gamers.
So all i have to say for Absolution is that it's a great game with a few ding-dongs here and there but worths the money and it's a great experience. If you are a fan of the Hitman franchise this is you dream...

This is Sh*t. Different franchise - nothing to do with THE 47

Agent 47 returns in a tale that is, in every aspect, more personal then previous Hitman games.

If you can get over the fact that this isn't Blood Money 2 and are open minded, this is a very enjoyable game.

PC version is prettier from the console ones. Deep story and great stealth elements only ruined by a poor AI...
