Hitman: Absolution is a great game, but it also has a few cons, read this to find them!
Let me start by giving a back story about the game, then I'll go onto pro's and cons, and end it.
Hitman: Absolution is a sort of Stealth Action hybrid, where your main goal is to kill a contract, unlike the other games, this one actually has a proper story (the other games were kill this person and move on), this one gets you hooked and you want to find out more, with one guy being the guy you need to kill.
Pros:
Good gameplay, you can have hours of fun.
Good physics, it can fail a little, but the overall game physics are a big improvement from the last one, and aren't too bad.
Good array or weapons, clothing, etc, you have a lot of weapons at your disposal, from a brick to an assault rifle, a pen knife to a pistol, there are a lot of different weapons, and all of them kill.
Contacts mode, if you get the game you get something called Contracts mode, which is user based missions setting their own contracts for you to kill, and you can create your own!
Cons:
Point system, no-one likes a point system, but this one is worse, you can ONLY kill the contract, unlike the other games, on this one you even lose points from knocking someone out, so disguises are really hard to get if you want points.
Awkward physics, I know I said the physics were good, but there are some stupid parts, like on a mission where you have to knock someone out and capture him (not really spoilers), I just threw him out of the window thinking he'd die, but no, since he's knocked out, even though he fell pretty fast, nothing bad happened, not even a scratch.
Fairly bad storyline, in my opinion, the storyline wasn't so good, you don't really need to pay too much attention to it.
Hard to get Easter Eggs, everyone likes Easter Eggs, normal Easter Eggs are at least a tiny bit obvious, while on this, they're almost non existent, I only found out Easter Eggs were IN THE GAME because of YouTube!
So, as you can see, there are pro's and cons, but overall, I say buy this game! It can be great fun, especially with the good DLC.
