Official Playstation Magazine (OPM) gives Hitman: Absolution a solid 9 out of 10

    http://www.officialplaystationmagazine.co.uk/2012/10/23/hitman-absolution-review-gets-910-in-official-playstation-magazine-a-peak-for-the-series/#null

A 9 is an amazing score. Absolution is definitely shaping up to be great.

I generally ignore "professional" reviews, but in Hitman's case, the more good reviews it gets, the better.

You can tell from a game's trailers what reviews it is going to get. I don't know why people act like the scores are ever a surprise.

So far, this generation, I have predicted if a game was going to be at least an 8/10 simply by watching its respective trailers.

Early reviews are basicly the most untrustworthy of the bunch.
There is a reason why they are so early after all.

Of course, the only reason why the embargo got lifted for those reviews is because they scored quite high.
Still, I think it's shaping up to be a great game.

    Everything's an 8 or a 9 anymore. I no longer trust reviewers.

Uncharted 2 - French magazine review - 21/20(one of the first reviews out), Everyone was flabbergasted and wonder if it was truly that great.

    It was indeed incredible.

I wouldn't trust early reviews. There's no way they'd get to play a game early if the producers knew there was even the slightest chance they'd get a negative review. They're PR companies now, not journalists or reviewers.

"The thrill of pulling off a beautifully planned hit." Yep. That sums the game up for me. The escape missions were always the worst. There's something about knowing you can walk away from a mission. When the mission starts with you stuck on a roof top or in a library, being hunted, I already don't want to play any more; that's just Grand Theft Auto in slow mo.
Here's to Walking, stalking and preying.

Most reviews that are out now are giving very positive scores. I haven't seen anything less a 85.

Probably already stated, but GameInformer gave it an 8.5/10.

New review (still a rumor) from PC Gamer: 62/100
    Ouch...

To be fair, I think the review focused too much on negatives instead of positives and most of all that the PC port was apparently bad. Since most of all here are getting the PS3 version i'd say we don't have that problem.
