Agent 47 makes his debut on the Cube.

User Rating: 9.1 | Hitman 2: Silent Assassin GC
Cube owners finally get access to the deliciously devent Hitman2, which last year was to me one of the best games of 02. But is Hitman2 on the Cube good if not better than the PS2 release?

The answer is yes and no.

Graphics
Hitman 2 still looks amazing, but the graphics didnt' quite look up to par on the previous versions. Stuff seems to "pop" on the outdoor levels, and the framerate takes a nose dive when the action gets too hot. And it's not there on the PS2.

Gameplay
On thing the Cube One Ups the PS2 version on is the wonderfull fluid controls. On the PS2 you had to hold the L2 button to make 47 run. On the Cube that is all on the Analog sitck. Tilt it a little and he walks, all the way he runs. The controls feel good, nothing is cramped which is good. Otherwise the gameplay is still the same, only easier due to the smooth control scheme.

Sound
Jesper Kyd's music fares well on the Cube. Though in some spots, it sounds muddy.

Overall Hitman 2 is still a must buy on the Cube. If you overlook the flaws, you'll find a devilously good romp.
