Fresh new trailer for Hired Guns: The Jagged Edge.
I don't know why people hate this game this game is cool, I agree i is more like Jagged Alliance 2 but still this game has a good story and a new background
looks like they just upgraded the graphics engine of jagged alliance 2.. But they also seem to have removed some as well.. good gameplay ^^
Superb, thats the Game I was looking for :)
The game looks kinda cool. I'll probably check it out. I did notice that the game has been developed by a Russian team, though. Recently I have found that the Russian style of game creation isn't exactly my taste. But I'll give anything that lets me shoot/blow up/otherwise murder stuff a go.
Couldnt have said it better myself asjws14, although ill just add, THANKS BETHESDA FOR TERRIBLE FALLOUT 3, great for monkeys though! ooo oo ooo aaah aaaaah aaaaaaaaah!
sick game
I love the lack of AI comment. It's a turn based game, and the video didn't show an enemy turn. And I hate how actually thinking rather than reacting makes a game seem "slow and laborious". Look at any list of the best video games ever and you will find a majority are made up of what people now days might consider "slow and laborious" gameplay. You will also, by the way, find XCom and Jagged Alliance near the top of those lists, which this game was modeled after entirely. This game may end up being lame, but don't look down on the game concept, or we will be destined to stay in the realm of horrible reactionary video games that are more about style and flashy preview movies than about substantial gameplay and replayability. You know, the world where Rainbow Six is just another mediocre FPS.
I played the german version of the game. Pretty cool game. Can be runned on the older configurations too. Too bad that you don't have many quests. The map is too small in comparison with Jagged Alliance 2. You can join different factions in the game.
Many of you sound like spoil d*ckheads (darkpresence and crazymoose in particular). The game is based on turn-based, tactical thinking. Since there wasn't any DISPLAY of AI in terms of the clip it is impossible to judge - although idiots and talking monkeys will judge no matter what. Personally, if story line is strong and AI decent this will be a welcome change from the "real time" clickfests that take no ability whatsoever but are enjoyed by the talking monkeys.
looks decent though barely can tell. but the game play looks slow and laborous. not to mention the AI is practically nonexistent. and animations are slow and labored though a bit on the realistic side given speed and reflex of a human. but definitely another mediocre title not worth my cash. when will these indie companies learn you have to innovate to be noticed and not take the quick way out.
I want the last 1:23 of my life back. A small child could make a better game.
This game looks lame, the game play was fustrating to view, so I know playing must be a real drag. Oh Heck no, not me.
looks terrible and sounds even worse
It would be nice if this turned out to be a good game... But i doubt it will.
Uh, oh. The little kids are posting up again. There used to be alot of good games in this style. You can't judge the game on this little clip.
lame.............
