User Rating: 5.5 | High Velocity Bowling: Move Edition PS3
Well I just got this game today because of the PSN patch to enable move.

Graphics and Performance:
First things, the graphics arnt too bad and I like the retro theme music at the load up screen. Load times are pretty good and it wont take you long to get into a game.

Move Support:
Game requires a LOT of room, I have been playing it in my bedroom and I'd say standing 2-2.5m back from the camera and a fair amount of the time I receive the out of camera range icon appear.
No major issues with losing signal, but it is VERY sensitive when bowling.

Move Controls:
Firstly I'm going to say it because I know everyone is wanting to know, does it match up to bowling on the wii? The short answer....no.
While the graphics as I mentioned before destroy anything on the wii, the controls are dull and unintuitive. I appreciate that this game was not built for move, but the move support feels simply tacted on. For example in wii bowling, a simple flick of the wrist adds a wicked spin on the ball and powering it also provides you with a great sense of power. (saftey first people remember those wrist straps)

HVB provides none of these features, even a small amount of power buzzes you angrily to say you are throwing the ball too hard. Hey I'm a gamer and for me going downstairs to grab a can of mtn dew is a vast amount of effort, so when I want to actually make an effort and throw a ball so hard I risk ruining my tv, LET ME!!!.

Onto the spin, the spin system, again tacted on, is a simple port of in the original I would Imagine you hold left or right whilst bowling or pushing a button etc. From what I have played, the best way to get a good result is to turn the controller as you throw it. This isn't ultimate frisbee its bowling, too add the spin it should be as the wii has done so successfully.

Online:
Dead, I cant say any more I've not been able to join any games. Last time I checked there were three people, 2 in a match and one by himself who was "busy and unable to join" for some stupid reason.

Being a bit of a Sony fanboy (bit?! coughs my flatmate) I really wanted to love this game and invent some form of drinking game around it, but If I got this game out at a party, the only drinking would be alone as everyone would rush home after the first game.

3D:
I don't have a 3D TV sadly.

Final Thoughts:
My recommendation, would I?.... If you are a DIE HARD bowling fan and absolutely must have every PSMove game available than yes go for it, if not get something worth while like Heavy Rain.
