Well, my friend Cory gave me this game as I like the show, and I was greatful, and I still am as he was thinking of my interests. However, I don't think even he know how boring this game is.

GAMEPLAY:
Well you can play as Ami & Yumi, and when one gets low on energy, you can switch the girls out, kind of like how you could in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the Nintendo Entertainment System, however unlike Turtles which was not too great a game which is a shame as I like Ninja Turtles, Ami & Yumi's moves are pretty much the same so it doesn't matter who you play as, even if you like one more then the other, I rather play Turtles then this, at least that is more entertaining. Now you face enemies and you can excute certain moves to beat the, but it does not really matter, all you basicly have to do is press buttons, near any button or strum the cords on the Screen which do the same thing, but as you can use the buttons as well, it doesn't really matter unless you want to get more used to using the DS screen, which is something I hated learning in Super Mario 64 DS and luckally I did not need to in that incarnation if I did not want to. You go around looking for money and paths, you face some bosses which are kinda tough at times, but you beat them pretty much the same way as the other enemies. There is also this sushi making game which I don't really understand the point of too much nor do I really care. The cutscenes are pretty boring as well, no motion, voiceless, soundless pretty much, it's like an old game on the NES, I say that console as the SNES had had better cutscenes in some games. Sega CD had movie like Cutscenes which more more entertaining for it's crappy library of games. The Nintendo 64 which the DS is basicly a a more advanced portable version of, a lot of the games like Star Fox 64 and Banjo-Kazooie had better cutscenes. I'm sorry, but that just annoys me.

GRAPHICS:
Well this part is kinda okay, they fit in with the show and make you feel like you are in it, but compared to other games as well, it's not that good. But as it does pass for the show, I will give it a 7 at least in Graphics.

SOUND:
Well it's nice to here the theme song in the beginning of the game, but a lot of the music is boring and sounds like it just loops and some of it comes up at times when it feels like it just ruins the experience. The effects are okay, like a Cat screeching in pain and anger, and the hitting sound it okay so that helps some. And now to voices, this just as grunts and such and the girls share the same grunts meaning the have the same voice in this game instead of their own like they had on the show. I would have liked it if the actors from the show could have recorded their voices for the cutscenes, it would have made it less boring, in the SpongeBob Squarepants: Supersponge game for Playstation, in the cutscenes there, at least there they all spoke. Kirby Squeak Squad had better cutscenes. They did not use the same music constantly and changed when needed to fit the mood and even had a slight bit more animation at times and impact.

OVERALL:
I would not recommend this game to many people, it's not a completely horrible game, but it's not that much fun either. There are better games out there to play that are simular to this, like New Super Mario Bros. & Sonic Rush. I have not played this game for too long, but it was just so boring, I just did not want to continue. I'm sorry
