Gotta love Doom Clones
Characters:
You have a nice selection of characters. This is sort of an FPS RPG. You get to choose from a mage dude, a warrior and a cleric. Not bad. This is actually probably the highlight of the game.
Story:
Im not exactly sure whats going on with the story or if there even is one, but nobody cares about stories in doom games so what the heck. Forget the story!
Sound:
The sound is this game is bad. The effects of the wand are ok in sound but when you break a glass it sounds so unrealistic. Before the sound bit is up, at the end of the sound you here a loud Ping which makes this sound ridiculous. None of the sound is really good in this game, either its average or below average.
Graphics:
Now the graphics in this game are very poor. You'd think the Sega Saturn would have better graphics than this, but thats the designers fault. Graphics aren't supposed to mattermYou wanna know how bad the graphics are? Play it for 5 minutes, i was already ready to poke my eyes out and vomit. Im serious when saying this.
Gameplay:
Aside from the bad graphics, this games controls are very sloppy. The framrates are horrible.
The gameplay is as equally as bad as the graphics. you walk at a faster speed so the framerates are to drop but in doing so makes you so sick you really want to vomit. I couldnt play this game for an hour thats how bad it is.
FINAL THOUGHT:
This game wouldve been much better if the graphics were to improve and the framerates were to improve as well as control. The high point of this game would be the character selection...thats not really saying much either. Overall this game is nice to have in your collection if you spend $5 or under.
