Looks ok but I will bet it will suck. They can't make a good flight sim on the consoles.

To sagemodee, I agree. The PC is made for first person flight sims but please keep the 3rd person flight sims on the consoles. To salta06, some aircraft have a combat flaps setting - increased maneuverability at slower speeds. It just depends on the situation.

What ever happened to first person flight sims? This 3rd person stuff stinks (imo)

Why would any fighter have flaps down during dog fighting...... Let's hope that's being corrected.

I think you might be mistaken tomo. The majority of it showed mustangs escorting b-17's. It showed 1 scene with might have been a spitfire. But if anyone has played History channels battle of britan i hope the damage system is closley related. Thats what really made HC:battle of britan stand out from other flying games where they just had health bars.You can rake across a heinkle all you want but if you dont hit something vital it wont go down.

I can't wait for this game, I hope the team does a good job on this game. Heroes 1 was good on the xbox

crimson skies on the PC still reigns supreme leader of arcade flight combat. Apart from IL2: BOP I can't see anyone changing that anytime soon.

It's funny after watching this trailer and seeing the sub titles in German - why on earth do German game designers want to make a game about the death and destruction of their own country men? I mean, wouldn't they want at least to glorify their own pilots during the war even though they lost anyways? - lol

it looks good but then so did blazing Angels 2 and the only good things about Blazing Angels 2 was the customization the Graphics and the cockpit view, the Game play was frustrating and too hard and OTT stylee! but then this insnt a blazing Angels and Atari can never make a bad game! please please add a single player skirmish mode Atari i beg you!

I'm assuming the majority of the trailer from what I've seen is battle of britian, from seeing the fleets of german bombers and also whats been said in the preview about fighting over the channel. If so then this is obviously not going to be v.realistic at all as the americans didn't fight in the battle of britian. We need a really realistic WW2 aerial combat game like IL-2 not another blazing angels clone.

We need another IL-2... from the looks, it seems too "arcade-is" (btw, we'll see if a moderator deletes my entry since they love to do that, and I may have offended some poor soul)

Hopefully it's not one of those auto-centering flight games. I hate that crap. The flying needs to be like BF1942. That game had sweet flying controls.

I played Heroes Over the Pacific and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Blazing Angels sucked, its no good. They didnt put any effort or hard work in that game but Heroes Over Europe, Definitely. People if you like flying games GET THIS GAME. Heroes Over The Pacific btw was underrated, I would of gave that game at least an 8/10, not 7.2 like Gamespot did.

Strange that Germans weren't offended seeing game footage of US Fighters taking out German Fighters.
