The new DoTA and a great game to replace it HoN takes every great thing in DoTA and triples it. Watch out Blizzard....
Heros of Newerth has a variety of heros and all of them have there unique abilities. your objective is to destroy your opponents main structure that is defended by creeps that spawn in lanes and defended by strong towers. it seems pretty simple but once teamwork is involved and all the items it can get very complicated to new users but it will grow on you and you will find yourself addicted and Competing like your money was on the line.
The community could be a bunch of Dicks more so than other games but just remember what online game is fun without them.
The invoice chat in the game is a nice addition to talk to your team and try to develop a plan to take out the other teams and there towers to get to the val hallah the other teams main building.
