So Fun...floating head and robotic gorillas!

Wow. All of this hate for the Hellboy game. I am a huge fan of the Hellboy comic and enjoyed the movie too. I think this game is a lot of fun. It is kinda like a PS1 or PS2 game. A button masher for sure. I do like how y... Read Full Review

IF I HAD BROUGHT IT I WOULD HAVE BROKE IT..

This game is far beyond horrific for even the most notorious of die hard beat em up gamers. I didn't notice a story line to begin with and second of all the combat is so repetitious I had to put it down after about 10 mi... Read Full Review

What Gamespot Users have to say about Hellboy: The Science of Evil

Hellboy comes out a couple weeks before the movie, and while it's not based on the movie it still dissapoints.

[Notice at bottom for people who liked this review.] So as mentioned this game does come out about 2 weeks before the movie, which is peculiar. That is, until, you learn it has nothing to do with the movie's story. Yo... Read Full Review

Obviously a labor of love, but not the most technically proficient. Think of the Evil Dead games.

I'm a rabid fan of the Hellboy movie and comics, so my review's hardly going to be unbiased. I am, however, someone who had very high hopes for this game, and wasn't left disappointed. The Good: -Excellent art desig... Read Full Review

    A dissapointment to Hellboy.

First off the game is incredibly short. The graphics arn't good and the monsters are very generic. Very, very repititive. The weapons are fun and interesting but the monster arn't much of a challenge. The only fun charac... Read Full Review

Somebody just stepped on the big guy's tail

This game is so bad, I really don't want to review it right now. But I should so that you don't have to play this game. There are six missions in the whole game, each which last over an hour each so your journey from ... Read Full Review

Oh Crap....it's only for Hellboy fans

So I guess with the new Hellboy movie coming out very soon, someone decided that it was just time to give old Red his own video game. Well actually, he's been put in video game before, but from what I hear, that old Pla... Read Full Review

Care to Send Some Demons Back to Hell?

Hellboy: The Science of Evil is a beat 'em up starring the trash-talking, demon slayer in an original story unrelated to either movie. The story begins with Hellboy hunting a witch through a forest inhabited by imps and... Read Full Review

    A typical boring brawler.

If you're not a Hellboy fan (and that is a fan of the comic books) you'll want to keep your distance from this game. Everything begins in gorgeous Romania, which is land to an absurd amount of legends, you're hunting a w... Read Full Review

    "Everyone's a critic." (long review)

As we know movie tie ins usually, to be blunt and low brow "suck as" usually for the reason that they're rushed to the selves in time for the release of the particular movie itself. Of course most of these are based on c... Read Full Review

This game is so dissapointing that it is hard to recommend to even Hellboy fans.

Hellboy:Science of evil doesn't follow the movie Hellboy 2: The golden Army. Instead it has a storyline of its one which is bleak. The storyline is very boring and doesn't capture the gamer's attention. The mission desig... Read Full Review
