    Good, good stuff. Keep it up, Quantic Dream! And THANK YOU for enriching the gaming industry and genre landscape with something that defies genres and the conventional meaning of a "game" like this.

    So pretty much... its a "chose your own ending" movie. I don't have to pay $60 to find one of those. I buy video games for a original, interactive, simulated experience. Not a movie where I press a couple of buttons.

    @gerorgeww
    It's because it's something fresh and new. The market is saturated with guns and cars. They're all the same, and people want something fresh. Didn't you ever play Fahrenheit? That was a good game. However this will be even better.

    The thing that makes this great is it's like making your own movie. Say you start out as the reporter girl. Her boyfriend is waiting for her at a café whilst she’s investigating the house. If she gets killed, you take over the boyfriend trying to find out what happened to her. If she survives, she meets her boyfriend and going home they’re attacked and you play the boyfriend having to protect the girl.

    It's a drama where the story evolves around your choices, there are multiple ways the story can go depending on what you do. Like the old choose a storybooks, but way better. Also I don’t know about this, but it may not be such a straightforward murder story. It was the same with Fahrenheit, start as a murder story, turned into the Matrix. And games do need to get past the stage of, in order to be a good game it needs a big gun. We've already seen that it's possible with games in the past to do something different. However too many games still rely on the formula of guns, cars, and graphics. Heavy Rain doesn't, it relies on emotion, and it’s something people actually need to develop more in games. Instead of more games about just detracted violence.

    However there will always be people that don't like what others do. But this game is going to be a hit, like it or not. 1) The high quality of the in-game graphics will draw graphic whores in.
    2) Those that like changing worlds will bring in Fable, black and white etc addicts
    3) Emotional content will bring in movie buffs and a mixed gender interest
    4) Horror and suspense addicts will be brought in by the atmosphere
    5) People that played and loved Fahrenheit will be drawn in
    6) Manny people looking for a change to the formula, or don't like shooters and racers.
    7) People that watch things like CSI, and Law and Order will like it too.

    So many will enjoy it. Not saying you have to like it, but I’m saying guns and cars do not a great game make. And also why others are making ‘a big fuss’ over it.

    The fact that this is actual gameplay footage just blows my mind. I just can't comprehend that.

    Easily my most anticipated game of this year. Every time i watch this trailer, i feel my pants get smaller around the crotch area.

    If it's anything like Indigo Prophy (wich is likly) then it will be an unbeliveable experince that will change peoples minds about games. And be another mark for Games are art. Plus them saying its only possable on the PS3 makes me smile .

    seems like you just do things and makes decisions, and the games engine is supposed to react to it. With something like this you cant really know if it will be good. It has potential but it's ability to be fun and be played again and again by a mass audience in my mind, is doubtful, who knows tho. Prohly wont be online either. This is a risky game to develop but at least its a original and people should keep and eye on it.
