Shaun goes down the red carpet to see what developers are expecting from the 14th annual Interactive Achievement Awards followed by a wrap-up with Ricardo and Shaun.
One thing that gets me a little as a flash game dev is that angry birds had really been done before it was ever created on the iphone. Really most of the games making it on the iphone now are just copies of flash games and yet the flash game devs do not get really any respect.
if its original and breath taking enough we will see a portable game win game of the year sometime in the future maybe not soon but its coming.
Take me with u guys next time!
My god is the game industry ..where the Asian and Black dev?the game industry is to white HAAHH!! I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING I'M BLIND!!!,no seriously most of those Dev don't even deserve an Award but Bioware dev do.
Well, IMO Gamespot provided one of the best coverages of this event (probably 2nd best right after official G4TV). It's good to see such professional attitude. Keep it up guys! Though I wouldn't mind even more interviews in future if possible.
However, Ricardo's last words about positive effects of diversity and distribution of awards between Mass Effect and Red Dead Redemption..., in the light of Gamespot's own awards distribution... well... let's say... they made me smirk a little bit ;).Angry birds is already a classic :)
Blizzard guy could only talk about his own game... Such an ego autofelatio
Stellar explanation by Richard Garriott. His comments are out of this world. uh... *insert space pun*
I really like Angry Birds but I just don't really see the hype. Almost everybody at my school (with an iPod/iPhone has this app and (in my own opinion) just a bit dissappointing... Thumbs up please if you agree.
nice!!! i am glad to see that Heavy Rain won a few awards... that was an excellent game...
RDR is a great game, i haven't played ME2 yet lol i really need to, ME3 is out this year.
Really hope there will be more games like Heavy Rain and Alan Wake. I LOVED both of them so much.
The Oscars of video games. ????????? Heavy Rain was a champ though
Hail to the king, baby! :D
