Tech Teams was one of my favorite parts of HoI 2, especially from a historical perspective. Germany has Heisenburg, Porshe, etc, historical researchers who specialized in various techs. It definitely allowed you to explore their specialties. Or at least make considerations for what to research. I don't want them to "seek" historical outcomes. But one of the things I found lacking was the formation of the Axis in HoI 2, they left it up to chance. It hurts the Axis player because of the way Blue Prints worked in that game.

Yeah, I'm bummed that they got rid of tech teams. It added a nice way to influence what you wanted to research most. I hope they don't start "nerfing" gameplay to get "historical" outcomes. Many are whining about Greece, etc. I'm sorry but Greece wasn't that important to change or nerf to get a "historical" outcome.

This looks like it has a huge layer of depth to it.

This really needs to be in HD, you can't read anything on the screen.
