A lot better than the first game, that's for sure...
GRAPHICS
The graphics and animation is very good. Compaired to the first part in the series, it's a lot smoother and more detailed. Plus, it's not all polygons anymore, it's sprite animations, with the exception of the FMV parts of the game. Plus, some of the backgrounds are very colorful to see and background animations help give the game a little extra something that can catch your eye. It's amazing to see how well your character looks when he runs or the way the enemies move. One enemy inparticular has the ability to teleport back and forth in a certain way.
GAMEPLAY
The gameplay is pretty good. Some of the moves you do take some time to learn at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy to finish the rest. The shooting part is pretty straight forward, if you see someone shooting at you, shoot at them back. Plus, you can also jump on a ledge and hang from it to either hide from your enemies or just be able to reach it so you can climb up and get to the next platform. Along with the normal action stuff, such as jumping and shooting, there are some puzzle elements to the game. Some areas require you to find a key of some kind to activate a bridge or open a door. Plsu, some items you find require charging, so you have to find charge stations to activate them later in the game. Also, try not to fall into pits, you die instantly
OVERALL
The gameplay is pretty fun once you figure out the timing of the jump and know who your enemies are. This game has a lot of action with puzzle elements put in to help keep your mind and eyes sharp. Some people may not like this game, but all I can say is give the game a chance.
