This was an amazing first game of a classic series on multiple platforms. I have only played the VC version though...

I always have wondered when playing a game in a very long standing series. What was the series like when it first came out? Well, thanks to all the main game companies, they have renditions of past games for their platforms.

When i first saw this, i immediately said no, thinking it wasn't going to be good. Then my brother just hiddenly buys it off the wii shop channel without my knowing. I promised him that i would play it for a hour, then decide to keep it. I didn't even spend 20 minutes on it, and i was loving it.

The game starts up with a boy and his parents. The parents are leaving for two and a half years, so the boy can get his life off the ground. This is where the player comes in. You are supposed to live the life of a rancher for two and a half years.

The humble beginning is actually used in many of the other Harvest Moon games. Once you actually start farming, it becomes a lot of fun. YOu can tell the time by how light it is outside, or if you complete some secret goal which i will not release, you get an actual clock.

When the time comes for your life to end, there are actually 20 different endings you can get. Some of the endings however, are not so good. You can also get a mix of endings.

All in all, harvest moon is a really good and different look on video games. It's different, in a good way.
