As usual you start running the farm from zero point. You can have the same things, such as cows, chickens, sheep, fish, a dog and a Horse. The town is a little different from Harvest moon back to nature (PS) and a lot different from N64. Some things were tweaked, such as the baby. In the previous versions, the baby would never grow, but this time, he becomes a child, and..that's all, he still won't help you in the farm. When you get married, your wife will leave the house to go to work...and that's all too! There are new events, some really funny...but....now the BAD...
The sound is still the same!! You will get tired quickly of that old music while in town!! After 3 years of working in your farm, you will get tired of doing the same things, of listening to the same music, and seeing the same scenarios and people! I heard if you stay married for 50 years or whatever it is, you will be able to buy a mountain cottage....but..who will reach that far?
In the end I think that if instead of releasing an identical version of the Playstation to other consoles, they create a new story with new characters, Harvest Moon can become another instant classic.
