I have played a total of 4 harvest moon games. Save the homeland (PS2), A Wonderful Life (GC), Havest Moon (N64) and this version. Hands down, this version is the best. It stands the test of time, continues to engage and is just hands down a fun experience.

Micromanaging a farm...psh sounds dumb right? WRONG, Natsume did such a fantastic job with this game its crazy. The characters are engaging, the farm is easy to manage yet extremely deep to customize, you can get cattle, a horse, sheep, chickens, and your dog to compliment that amazing crop field. You can do all the work yourself or hire someone else to do it for you, with the unusual price of flour....HAH!

If you have any interest in this game, or this series and have the means to borrow, or buy this game... DO IT. If you are interested in this game it will not let you down. The game is a complete blast and will keep you, your family, your kids, or dog entertained. But watch out, you will hear the phrase "Can I try it?" more that you are used to!
