This is my review on Harvest Moon 64. This game may not appeal to everyone, but anyone who likes it will enjoy it for hours. It is the sort of game that is hard to forget about. I find myself playing this again and again. This game will draw you in real fast if you like it. People who likes sims will probably like this game. This game is also for people who like animals and farming. This game really relaxes you. It is a good way to reduce stress. The graphics are pretty good. Many people think that these graphics aren't good, but these graphics are very pleasing. It fits the game and its world well. A good aspect of this game is the festivals. There are many different festivals that are very nice to attend. From the Starry Night Festival to the Summer Sea Festival, there are many festivals. There are also fireworks displays, horse races, and dog races. Don't forget about the New Years Celebration and Sowing Festival. There are also the Firefly festival and so much more! The Festivals really add to the game, in my opinion. It adds to the enjoyment greatly! Another good aspect is making friends. Making friends becomes a big part of this game. It is a good thing to make friends. Certain friends of yours may also get married and have kids. They don't get married unless you become friends with them. You get to be very influential toward everyone. You get to go to their weddings and watch their kids grow. There are 5 friends that can get married, don't forget about you! You get to get married to and one of these people may be your rival if you are trying to marry a certain girl and they do too. You can become friends with everyone. It's quite nice. You can really get involved in the villager's lives. The marriage system is also nice. There are 5 different girls you can get married to. There are many different scenes that enrich the marriage system. Examples of these include the dream scene, sprained ankle scene, and sick in bed scenes. There are also more like them giving you birthday gifts. You first become friends with the girl you want to marry, then work your way up. It is also fun to watch the fireworks with them. Then once married you can also have a baby that will grow a few stages. The home extensions are also awesome! You can get a greenhouse and more! You can add on a kitchen and a bathroom. You can also get a baby bed and a log terrace. You can also get a staircase. The crops are cool too. You can grow certain things outside in certain seasons. You can grow anything in the greenhouse all year. The animals also add to the game alot. I like how you could develop a relationship with them and how you could treat them well in order for them to give you better products. Like if you treat your cows well, they will produce bigger and better quality milk. You can get cows, sheep, and chickens. You can also get a horse and you also have a dog. The weather effects are nice. It can rain. In the summer typhoons can also come. In the fall the leaves change colors. In the winter, it snows. You can also fish in this game to make more money. From plowing your land to cutting lumber you will find something to enjoy. In the Winter you can also go mining. From Spring to Fall you can go gathering in the mountains. There is so much to do and all of it is fun! There are also many secrets and things to discover! Chances are if you buy this game you will become one swell farmer! So, lets go farming. Pick up this game and you are ready to have the time of your life!
