Once you get past the long and boring tutorial, Harvest Moon a New Beginning brings back memories of the SNES Classic.

I am going to make this brief. The only other Harvest Moon game I have ever played was for the SNES. Masterpiece that I regret selling. This game is fantastic and brings back old memories. The 3D is usesless and in my opinion does not really bring anything to the game. That does not mean it does not look nice (it does), but it just does not bring anything extra.

If you can get past the long tutorial (you don't even realize it is a tutorial at first), then you will enjoy this game. Amazing how virtual farming is so fun and addicting, yet I would never do it otherwise. Also, you have to complete the tutorial to unlock Multiplayer mode. I don't plan on playing it, but for those out there wondering, yes you have to unlock it. Once you do, that is pretty much where the tutorial ends.

If you enjoy farming and seducing the ladies with your goods, this game is the game for you...or if you just remember how good the SNES game want something similar.
