Good 8 bit racing game.

I was ten or so years old when I had this game, and it made me want a motorcycle. Hang On is your standard, behind the back view, racing game. But this is the first one that I played that involved a motorcycle. The graphics were okay, nothing special. Although I do think they are superior to any NES motorcycle game. The graphics are pretty much just like pole position or any other 8 bit racer, except for the horizon, in which you can see mountains, or cities, or whatever the background is. The sounds of the motorcycle were excellent and exciting at the time. The gameplay was nice and simple, and fairly responsive. Directional button steered, and one button was for accelerating, one for braking. Take a turn too fast and you'll crash out. Hit other bikers and you'll crash. Overall, this game was a blast to play. I hope a master system retro-clone system with built in games comes out, like they did for the 2600.
