Halo Zero is a 2d side scroller that takes place in the Halo universe. Halo Zero takes place before Halo 1. You are Master Chief as always, and you are on the planet Reach, if you have read any of the books you will now about Reach. You go through a bunch of lands running and gunning. The levels are pretty fun, and it is fun to run through them just shooting everything. All the weapons from the original Halo are there, and they all have their different feels like in the original Halo. My one complaint is that you can finish this game in a few minutes.

The graphics do not look bad for a free to download 2d side scroller game, but they could of looked better.

The sound is pretty much the same sound as in Halo 1. The music is also the same, which is not a bad thing, I have always liked the music in Halo.

If you want a free, quick to download, easy, and good 2d shooter in the Halo universe, then you should give Halo Zero a try.
