I hate this when i played the first halo i didnt get any  fun playing it so will never buy xbox 360 for this game.uncharted is more fun than this games

really? they're complimenting the menu system? this is a great game, but a 9.5 is obviously too much. they are all over Halo's nuts.

Just bought an Xbox + Kinect for my wife and got Halo Reach and Red Dead Redemption for myself. First time I will play a console game (except for the old ones, like Atari and Megadrive). An amazing start, I'd say. :D

Ya I agree 44montana97... That is the only reason i don't like the ps3 is because i can't get games like fable or halo on it!!

I own a ps3, and i even have to admit, x360 has some pretty badass games like this one

each armor types need to have diferent effects as more resistence , speed , less recoil and others

HALO 4 with arbiter and master chief , i can cry when play. REACH is very good music and multiplayer mode.halos games need more things as iron sights in weapons and enemys more easy to kill

Can't believe I've waited about 2 years to re buy my Xbox 360 after mine rrod on me after the 3 year warranty. Glad I got another for Christmas and am now playing this. Loved halo since combat evolved and feel this is the best game in the series since combat evolved. Can't wait to see what 343 does with halo 4.

Most consistant game series ever. Halo's always there for when you get burnt out from the newest games.

This is probably the best console game made to date. I still play it regularly and its 1/6/2012 as of this writing.

I just got a Xbox 360.Is the single player campaign worth it?

The game lives up to this review and so much more. The simplest summary of this is Chris' statement that this the pinnacle of the series.The effort Bungie put into it and Halo Waypoint's continuing input with challenges helps keep you coming back again and again.

Over a year later and still playing it on a regular basis. Amazing game.

that reminds me where did Jun go at the end of the game !!!!!!!!!!!!! i did not see him get killed so where the did he run off to !!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????

And i would like to add one other thing The achievement to complete the game on single player legendary should go down as the best achievement in the achievement system's history for the simple fact u really do feel like u have achieved something. i was at it for about 20-25 hours and the last level is a pain!!! but loved it enjoyed evry minute of trying to get that achievement i hope u peeps agree=)

i love reach but i gave it a 9.5 because of one reason the armour lock is way over powered thats the only reason for me amazing game though best halo since halo 2

I bought Reach based on this review, I've yet to fire it up (partially as I'm trying to play through 3 first) so I hope it will live up to the expectations this has given me for it.

I can honestly say it's the best in the series since Halo 2.

Will buy it when it costs 15 USD, not a day sooner...

@Xbuxruulezz I guess you can call me a ps3 fanboy because thats my console of choice and I have a 360 but I wouldn't say I hate halo and cod is good but boring to me now. I have to say that halo reach, to me has the best campaign i've ever played as far as shooters go so yeah not all ps3 fanboys are like that.

halo reach is the beast halo since halo 2, don't know if its better than halo 1 but all depends in personal choice opinion. I love how easy it is to customize your spartan and jump into multiplayer nice and easy. campaign is really gd best campaign game on the xbox by a mile if u play 4 player coop its even better.......... and this is for all u cod fan boys halo takes more skill to play than cod its a fact! in cod all u have to do is camp in a corner and wait untill u get a kill streak, and another thing battlefield 3 is gonna own mw3 hands down so go back to cod fourms because we don't want u in great games like halo.

WARNING: The review of 9.5 is over generous. This game deserves a 7.5 or maybe an 8. Halo Reach is VERY boring. it is the same game as Halo 1 with better graphics and no gore. It does have all the maps though, and forge, but it has very boring gameplay. Goldeneye and Perfect Dark on the N64 have gameplay that stand the test of tiem better than the boring Halo series.

@fluffyninja4 i find it very respectable that you would say something like that because most ps3 users would automatically say they hated halo as reflex for defending their so loved and preciouse cod. Thank You.

God, I love this game so much! However, I do have to say I prefer Black Ops (with the massive multiplayer progression and all, + Zombies). While technically, I have to say Reach is better, but entertainment wise, I prefer Black Ops.

@Czechs_Mix357 i lolz at u 1 call of duty haz not change since well ever i have only seen better graphic and that about it 2 the shield works exactly the same way in call duty but with less blood 3 claiming that call of duty requires skill or any fps is really just reflex and thumb coordination halo and cod uses the uses the same what you call "skill" and most people have played both games you can't say cod players own halo when on halo player uses the same skill

a truely fantastic game, gotta love that forge. Best thing since slice bread

call of duty actually takes some skill you don't have a f@ckin shield to help you or two main guns you only get one gun and a pistol plus Nazi zombies was a stroke of purer man stuff. halo's bean the exact same thing since the first one and i doubt that has changed. a call of duty player could own on a halo player..

@scrappy2479 I stopped doing this arguement a while ago but Halo simply annoys me with this fanbase that acts like its the greatest thing to ever come since slice bread. If people like it, fine by me but I can't see why people say its innovative yet it took ideas from other games, and some of these ideas came from games that people should know. I don't want to argue with Halo because people usually don't listen or ignore what they are told alltogether.

@majema007 we get it you dont like halo. but stop spamming the page cause your not satisfied with what the game has to offer. and to answer your quest as to why people enjoy playing it is because they find it fun. its that simple noting more to it
