The Bottom Line:
"Worth the wait"
Halo Reach in one word would be.. 'Wonderful'
With options to play like campaign, multiplayer, forge and firefight. You can easily burn hours into this game without being disappointed. If you like games to be adventurous, playable with friends, creative or just right up galactic action packed! This game is for you!

I would rate the core of any action game nowadays, the campaign, an 8.0. The reason being is the three main factors are great: Graphics, Story, Gameplay. The graphics are the top of the scale for today's technology, with beautiful waters crashing off rocks to bullet fires of guns flashing across the screen. The Story is intriguing, not the best story ever, but it will certainly suck you in with emotional feelings towards characters and a 'time well spent' feeling at the end. And the Gameplay is fantastic overall, with sneaky little animations with guns when reloading here and there.. Concluding all of this, at times the campaign simply lacks, well, fun. It can get slightly repetitive in missions, like go to this checkpoint and this happens a lot. But making up for that is the three main factors. Bursting the game with positivity in between it all.

Next, Multiplayer. The most popular part of action games across the world today has to be amazing with the market booming with a range of choice, I rate multiplayer a 8.5. And Halo Reach doesn't achieve the hype. But it certainly does achieve a fun and addictive experience which will keep you playing for hours, which the campaign lacks abit. Customisation with emblems and your armour is all planned out fantastically but there could still be abit more of your own touch added to it. The ranks are unique to other games with commander, noble ect. which is better than numbers like nearly every game out there. Game modes are very unique and fun.

Lastly Forge and Firefight. Forge for me is the heart of the game! This is because I am a creative sort of gamer but forge is not just about that. You and your friends can create bases and have team battles across the forge world in flying banshees and vehicles made for total destruction. You can design the bases with almost full freedom adding colours for which team your are. I have spent over 50 hours on forge and can say it is the most addicting time I've had on an xbox 360 game since release. The forge does take a few hours to get used to and around 8 hours to know the ins and outs of it all, but it is a true delight if you have friends playing. The more, the better. Firefight is fun too, but can get boring after a few hours.

Overall, this game is going to be a classic in years to come and should be fully refelcted on now. It is a treasure to the Halo franchise...
