Although Reach has not exactly brought us something fresh, the deep storyline and the multiplayer are still enjoyable

Halo Reach

Graphics/Design- Great

The texture in the game is more crisp and the characters look much more authentic than before. The lighting has also improved giving the game a better eye candy to the audience with the use of cast shadows and shades to bring it that 3d realism. In terms of the sound effects; not much gradual changes were observed other than the armor abilities and the new weapons.

Story- Inspiring

Without a doubt I knew that the game would have an amazing campaign due to their previous successors. Despite having a flawed beginning, Reach brings us a true meaning of fellowship and love for others from the Noble Squad. Although sacrifices were made to end less than one quarter of the Covenant species, it made a big difference to the society of Reach. The use of a powerful message of teamwork and the determination of winning make this game a must have for campaign.

Multiplayer- Good

This would be the weak point of Halo Reach because the multiplayer did not consist of any significant change in terms of the weapons or the customization. I just wish that included more things such as upgrading your gun, or making your own emblem. Despite of all these minor changes the multiplayer is still quite enjoyable.

Replay- Good

The game has a good replay value because it brings us back features that we've enjoyed back in Halo 3 like Theatre Mode, Firefight, and Forge. With out these exciting features, Reach would be less enjoyable after several months of gameplay.

Avoid it,or Buy it?

The answer to this question is fairly easy for acclaimed Halo Fans. For those who aren't big fans of Halo I suggest you do not purchase this game because it is pretty much the same as it's previous games. Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3. However, if your the type that enjoys Halo 3, you will definitely enjoy this one because it brings back the things we love in the Halo Saga and it fills in the puzzle pieces of master chief and the beginning of his assault.
