Do the dlc achievements have to be done on an associated dlc map?

    i.e. does an Anniversary achievement have to be done on an Anniversary map? Also, if this is not the case, do you need the map packs to earn the achievements that came alongside the map packs arrival?

    no they don't, people say they do but I've gotten all of mine not on the map. Just keep trying in MM

    A couple of them. A few of the Defiant achievements require you to do them on a Defiant map, so if you're stuck on a couple of those, that's the reason why.
