A F.P.S that made history.

"Halo: Combat Evolved" is a Sci-Fi First Person Shooter (F.P.S) game developed by 'Bungie Studios' and published by 'Microsoft'. It was exclusively released on XBOX in Nov 2001 then re-released two years later in 2003 onto P.C. When this title was first released, gamers; media and critics considered it the best F.P.S title ever created as it began blasting it's way through award ceremonies winning virtually every award under the sun. It was this very game that put Microsoft's XBOX on the map as a true contender in the console wars back in the day when Sony's PLAYSTATION ruled the day.
The story of Halo is set many years into the future in the year 2552. It basically centres around mankinds ongoing struggle against an alliance of fierce religious alien races known as the 'Covenant'. Assuming the role of a cybernetically enhanced human super soldier (Master Chief : Spartan 117) who's equipped with technologically advanced battle armour and an artificial intelligence companion 'Cortana', you will slowly unravel mysteries surrounding a habitable ringed structure known as 'Halo', whilst blasing your way through extremely intelligent enemies using some of the best weapons a F.P.S title can offer.
Personally speaking, this title was the very reason why I purchased an XBOX back in 2002. The story is great. The A.I is like no other title seen on XBOX whilst Martin O'Donnel's soundtrack flows perfect throughout the entire campaign.
Any gamer into the Halo franchise knows fully well that these titles are outstanding gaming experiences, especially when played on the 'Legendary' difficulty.
