Mm i would prefered them making another ODST game. Getting tired playing spartan super soldier. ^^ something about the odst i would prefered mroe such as explore more aspects of teh covenant-unsc war.

When i bought the first Xbox i was addicted to Hunter reckoning, after that i got bored until Halo came out. It proved consoles could have awesome fps games at a good budget (a few years later, i got a Ati AIW 8500 which costs me $350 which could play Cnc Generals and guild wars maxed but thats not including the cpu and motherboard. My whole tower at the time cost $1400 compared to the $300 xbox) I am truly looking to buying this and playing those old maps again! :)

I want this game, but not bad enough to spend $60 on it. I've already played the campaign, and multiplayer is using the Reach engine (WTF?) which will most likely ruin it for me. I really don't like the Reach engine. I'll consider it if there's a 'classic' mode for multi with no armor abilities and stuff, just CE with new graphics and maybe updated weapon damage for better balancing, but the Reach engine still felt too different to me. It won't really feel like Halo.

@Taco, because its under Microsoft, and Microsoft makes Xbox not Playstation 3, its one of Xbox's exclusives although many people don't care Halo Combat evolved and Halo 2 were released on PC but I believe they may have just given up on releasing halo on the PC because Halo 2 didn't do so well.

@Tacojoint i guess it gives the 360 the benefit of having such a great exclusive therefore boosting the xbox 360 sales because people want to play on Gears of war and Halo and stuff. I have both consoles and i only bought my 360 for Gears of War and Halo so it worked on me lol

ima ps3 guy in 360 turf by the way, but im wondering why doesnt 360 realease halo for ps3 they would make so much money, giving benifets to both sony and microsoft.just saying though prbly isnt going to happen )=

@Barighm Halo 4 is coming out for the xbox 360 during 2012. It suppose to be part of the second generation kinect games.

Halo 4 will likely be a launch title for the next Xbox. There is no way 343 has had time to do any serious development for the game. They're still hiring, they've been working on Reach maps and Anniversary, and every major Halo entry has been in the 2-3 year range. As for anniversary, I'm disappointed to hear I will not get a chance to play the original style of Halo multiplayer over Live.

Won't buy this. Might rent it to play the campaign (not that I care about most campaigns to start with). Waiting for halo 4 though.

Halo Combat Evolved change my gaming style, I spend a lot of time with this games this is epic i played that game a bunch of times in legendary i'm so happy totaly going to buy it

@Goods_Merchant it rather scary how its already been ten years but i'm looking forward to this game and number 4 and i cnt wait to have on eof those geek out weekdns where u play each chronologically from start of the story to finish :P

this isnt bungie. its 343 industries the company setup to carry on the halo franchise. bungie is working on their other game.

Are you all retarded? They're not milking it it's a remake. Fact is a large portion of modern gamers weren't playing FPS games 10 years ago. It will bring the story from the original game to the new generation as well as provide another awesome multiplayer experience. You people are acting like they're making a remake of Halo: Reach.
