is this game really coming on september?any way it is still disappointed that it is only on xbox.
2 Like Halo 1 was one of the first games I ever played on XBox (original), and have played all subsequent games. Cannot wait for this one to come out. This "making of" video has certainly made me even more excited (if possible) . I think I will have to book some vacation time when I pick up the game ;).
1 Like Well, at 60 years old I am really impressed with this Halo 4 video. This is a game I am really looking forward to getting. At my age I spend a lot of time gaming, and Halo 4 looks like it will be one of the best games out in a long time for me.
@OldGamers its nice to know that there are other "OldGamers" out there. I am within waving distance of 60 and female to boot! Get a lot of weird looks when I first started buying the games, but now am well known at the game stores!
True personal feelings are have gone into the making of Halo4. This is a must see, must play game of 2012. At 64 years old I am still get surprised. Thanks to everyone at 343 Studio for giving us something from the heart and mind that maybe the best game made in years.

I like how everyone says Halo 1 was the best game. It was released in 2001. I'm a huge Halo fan, but I've never played Halo 1. I was 8... most of you were probably 4. I own it, but can't play past the first mission. It's just not very fun in comparison to other Halo's. I'm assuming most of you haven't played it and just agree with the few you've heard who really did play it. So no, Halo 1 in no way was the best. For its time, yes it was the best. Overall, helllll to the no. Also you were probably very poor at multiplayer on xbox live in other halo's, so that's why you liked Halo 1.

1 Like Im so glad they are finally going have some proper sound design for the guns. Thats always been one of halos weak areas is the sound design especially for the gun sounds.
Only after CE. The first had great sound design, and they messed it all up after. @BuyaPC

i'd rather play a beta version than watch majority of the video be beta ready gameplay even if its not the game has more that enough time to be tweaked just like reach's beta was
played all Halo games, never really been a Halo Fan, i do think there are better shooters out there, but i gotta admit that the music in the Halo franchise has always been pretty good!! it's ease to spot Halo's music.

1 Like @sandrin @lazzdamian666 And yet, even when it hits the "Halo 6" mark, it'll still be behind the count when compared to the "Call of Duty" series. I'd much rather have an artfully crafted single player experience than CoD's yearly multi-player update.
Now 343 just has to pull it off...

6 Like Beautiful game, it's been a great ride from this series. I don't care what others' have lacked in the sequels and such. Each time, this game has promised me some of the best hours of my life. Great story, controls, MUSIC, characters, I can go on. This one has a positive nerve in my heart... I can't wait.
1 Like If this game is anywhere near as good as Halo:CE, it deserves to be the most anticipated game this year....by far. If not.....that's a different story.
I'm definitely up for this especially with Master Chief back, I'm not sure that it's the most anticipated game of 2012 though, that's quite a bold claim, time will tell on that one
gosh you know whats awsome is that almost half or even more really of what ive seen about halo has been stuff about the story which i think is apporiate cause multiplayer is a big part of halo and always will be gosh idk bout you guys but i play halo for the story cause i freaking love the halo universe and i cant want to find if master chief is gonna find the last remaining spartan IIs and IIIs on the shield planet cause I WANT TO THEM TO COME BACK master chief shouldnt be alone

Was really skeptical when they announced Halo 4... but wow. It appears 343 is retaining if not expanding what makes the series so... magical.
