I haven't played h4 in too long, kinda hard to get back in. Somebody, is spartan ops season 2 worth my time when I have many other games to play with?
So the guys at 343 are trying to incorporate alternate pathing elements into Halo? Sounds good.
1 Like the episodes that were released yesterday, were just..awesome, i enjoyed them so much, apprently the people who work on the main campaign chipped in to help spartan ops, so now it feels like you're in the campaign rather than some firefight clone.
Looks great. They seem to get better and better as they go along. Looking forward to this.

The mission structure seems improved, now plays like an actual mission instead of a firefight excuse. Anyway, don't take this gameplay too seriously, if you think this is how you play halo you must be out of your mind...
My one major beef with Spartan Ops is why is there so much lag? I'm able to play matchmaking with no problem but SO is just terrible.
I really want to get into Spartan Ops but the way it's matchmaking is won't let me. I think having to wait on certain days before you can play the chapter you need is kinda dumb. Just put all the chapters in MM at once like they did with Firefight and campaign in Reach.
I love Halo 4 but come on now. All that Spartan Ops match making silliness needs to be fixed.
@Shika_Stoner I never had a problem with it so far. Maybe its your internet connection. Check your NAT to make sure its not on restrict because if its on that then you'll never find anyone
@hydrobeast No I mean they only have certain chapters available on matchmaking on certain days. Chapter 5 has been the one for yesterday and today.

Remember that game you bought that you haven't played in a month or two? The one that Microsoft poured hundreds of millions into to try and compete with Call of Duty and fell flat on its ass? Yeah, that one.

these Halo games are feeling more and more Disney esque. Halo COmbat Evolved had blood and guts everywhere, old Halo games felt more gritty like a war game should be. I noticed halo 4 has no gore and feels very disney like. Not sure how this game is so famous. it's just as bad as Black ops 2.
@Dredcrumb9 all I remember from Halo 1 was the little guys that would shoot at you and driving around on beaches. The flood was a bit annoying though.
The new locale is gorgeous. Definitely agree with all of comments below, particularly regarding the infinite lives. I really like seeing the growth it is going through and hope they retain the (free) episodic gameplay in future installments, assuming they add more variety. I do miss firefight though :/
3 Like Spartan OPS is sooooo boring. Recycled maps over and over ... Feels like the shooter version of dragon age 2. With that said: some of the voice dialogue is interesting.
Does anyone really follow the spartan ops storyline? its horribly structured....

4 Like Spartan Ops needs more of a challenge to it! Please, give a limited number of lives from a team pool (at least on Legendary difficulty) to keep you on edge like the old Firefight mode!
As it is, it is too mindless: spawn/die/repeat until complete, done. Yawn.
