I got on a warthog, and waited for someone to get in my turret. Once I got someone in turret, I drive forward, turn a corner, two teammates spawned right infront of me. Next thing I know, I get double betrayal and then booted.. -_-
Oh and I was the one with the most kills in team, dragging the team along.

I know 343 is so stupid for not implementing a better booting system to where it actually goes into your brain to see if you really are taking the time to decide whether or not you actually should boot that person and then maybe theyll poll a system like an electoral college but for booting and betrayals and then a democracy shall arise in the kingdom Halo.

This, but with Florida so it's subject to recounting the votes.

I think that the stats of the person who just betrayed you should appear on screen before being given the option to boot, and if that person is doing significantly better an additional dialogue should ask, "Are you sure? This guy doesn't suck like you" and then reverse the buttons to ensure that the booter is paying attention.
Will NEVER happen, lmao

Sony bought Konami and will release a DDR game for the Nintendo DS. In this game, you set your DS on the floor and stomp on it till it no longer functions.

I will never understand the booting system.
Was playing Dominion, I'm going for B on Vortex, Wraith is shooting inside the base while those on foot charge in, shield door comes back up, Wraith already shot, hits the shield door right where I was. Then when taking over C, there was a guy hidden around the lift, so I stay at the back door and send a hologram in that direction. Guy in the Wraith decides he wants to shoot in there, hits the top of the doorway and kills me. Yet I could not boot him.
Either the players were forgiving in this game of Koth or the system was. Koth on Solace, I have the Incinerator Cannon, fire into the hill and blows up two enemies along with a teammate that rushed in on the other side. Then few seconds later once in the hill, I see two more enemies, shoot and teammate jumps right in front of me, betrays him and suicides me. Then at another hill, I threw a Pulse Grenade on the half of the hill where enemies were, team mate walks through it right when it implodes and betrays him. Suffice to say I stopped using Pulse Grenades while teammates were within 10 feet of enemies.

Reach should've taught you not to use explosives when teammates are by your target. There's no friendly fire in btb though, so explode **** to your heart's content there.

I hate how it seems that the game just randomly chooses if you'll get the option to boot. One game I had, I got splattered by a ghost right at the beginning of the game. I forget which map. I actually got the chance to boot, but figured it may have been an accident, so I forgave. I then got betrayed 2 more times by him while in combat, and never again got the chance to boot.

this betrayal booting was always an issue in Halo 3 as well.
People are just pricks about it.

And yet I never get the boot player option when a teammate runs me over with the Ghost after I pick up the Sniper Rifle.

I agree with basically everyone. You always get the option to boot if it was a clear accident, but if it was malicious and repeated, you never do. I had this chump in Flood betray me 7 times with a shotgun. No boot option. A flood lunges at him and I go to blast it, shoot him by accident, and get booted.

I don't get why when someone intentionally betrays me, sometimes I don't have the option to boot. Is it like everyone gets one warning?

One thing I know for sure: Revenge betrayals (that is, betraying someone who has previously betrayed you) seem to always get the option to boot.

First betrayal is a freebie. If he did it again you could boot him.

It needs a simple vote to boot system. You can choose to boot someone then it'd pop up on all the player screens asking so and so wants to boot so and so. Do you agree? And yes a little tab showing the dudes k/d spread and betrayals should be shown. And to prevent eliteism with such a system only players with ... let's say 2 or more betrayals can be voted for. Team killers would be a thing of the past.

What am I voting for? Who is this guy and what did he do? I didn't see anything...
Eh, I'll just say "Yes" and get on with it.
