so, i just finished serious sam 3. that last level got mental. must have killed a good thousand enemies between us. defeated the last boss as the last man standing, with no extra lives and 40 health. classic SS. loved it.
also, x-com is absolutely brilliant so far. havent had a chance to really get into it, but im already falling for it.

anyway figured out what i'm getting one of my older brothers. one of those gift boxes of Honey Jack Daniels with shot glasses. I'm going to wrap it in banana themed paper because he introduced me to jack and coke, and i swear to god it tastes like over-ripe bananas.

Got my husband assassins creed 3. I'm sure I shall take a shot at that. At least that's one present he doesn't know he's getting.

saw that honey jack daniels while i was knocking around tesco. im not much of a drinker these days, but that sounded lovely.
sorting out my ipod again after the little bastard wiped itself. anyone else find that much of your music library is from videogames? seems like the last place where you can find real music these days.

Mosha, I must say that a vast majority of my music collection is indeed from games. So diverse and so fresh compared to the overproduced, commercialized stuff in the main industry today.
Only a few more months and I can add a Ph.D. to the end of my name...can barely believe it.

A week left until Christmas, you are in the shopping crunch time, Sacred. Mine is done, just wrapping left.
My heart goes out to the people who are coping with the tragedy of the school shooting. As a parent I cannot fathom the pain they are going through. When I first heard of it it made me feel sick. Why, why would someone do something so horrible?

Because they're stupid and insane.
What I hate is the people taking advantage of this for a political agenda. People using this to try to get guns banned is what makes me sick.

I'd have to agree with the political spin. I have no answers, but I do believe there should be help available for kids who are having problems mentally, but even there you have to walk a fine line.

talk about your right to bear arms all you want, but being able to purchase firearms from supermarkets is beyond ridiculous. things need to be changed. the nasty sod who pulled the trigger is to blame, of course, but you cant weep for the children one moment and start strapping your dirty harry handcannon beneath your arm for your morning stroll the next.
