The amount of re playability in Halo 2 brought many gamers coming back for more. Graphics were at a high point, possibly the best on the Original Xbox. Single player mode lacked, well, story. It seemed that it was just imitating its original by making ANOTHER halo to fight on. Many players were disappointed because only 2 of the 15 levels had been set on Earth. New weapons had variety, but not much else to offer. I found myself playing more content with original weapons such as Sniper Rifle and the Rocket Launcher. Battle Rifle, SMG, and Brute Shot are the only truly useful new weapons. The pistol had been recreated with NO scope and damage reduction. Dual-wielding had been in many games in the past, but Halo 2 had revolutionized the feel. The advantage was double damage, as the disadvantages were no grenades and when you bash, you drop the secondary. Multiplayer for Halo 2 is where its all at. Matchmaking made jumping i and out of games much easier, as well as team games. Too much to say about multiplayer, you'll have to try it out yourself! Halo 2 is still one of the top FPS games of all time.
