It's extremely rare that a game will catch my attention and HOLD it for so long. It took me a while to get into the Halo thing, I didnt even have an Xbox until about 4 months ago. I bought Halo on PC for the multiplayer really, and it caught me for a while but i stopped playing. Then, after deciding "I wont spend the money for an Xbox just for Halo 2" that didnt last, i bought it and got Halo 2. I was blown away. The graphics are great, even though there is some of the "pop up" look to certain things, they seem to be the best graphics i've ever seen on a console shooter. The sound is beautiful, great music, the guns sound great. You can tell that they took a lot of time and put money into making this. It makes me wish more games would be like this. A lot of people will disagree with me, but most do agree this is the best shooter out there. If there was an award for most addicting game, this would get it. When i try to play my other games, i find myself slowing sneaking back to Halo 2. The online portion is the best in the game, I wouldnt even bother if I didnt have it. The story was disappointing, so they say, i've never tried it. I'm too deep into the Xbox Live portion of the game. The ranking, the depth of the options of Xbox Live just keep you entertained with friends, and, well, enemies. The fact that there are so many other players, you rarely find a game that isnt full. Some of the multiplayer levels are just too big for regular matches, coagulation should be used only for big team or clan match. Other than VERY few flaws that can get annoying, this game is amazing, completely worth the money of the game and the Xbox system. If you're looking for a shooter THIS IS IT!
