Review by savetehhaloz. An excellent game that suffers from frame rate, no multiplayer and no MODS that are on the PC.

User Rating: 9 | Half-Life 2 XBOX
Valve finally ported its flagship game, Half Life 2 to the Xbox console. This is an extraordinary feat, as Half Life 2 is huge and all of its juicy goodness was squeezed onto one disc for all Xbox users to enjoy. Valve obviously had to reduce some of the qualities of the textures and some of the physics to fit it all in; when you kill an enemy, his body will only move for a certain time before becoming rigid and in place. There is also many frame rate issues, the more fancy the physics get, the game slows down. It is also noticable that when you fire the SMG, the animations are choppy and not fluid. However, the truely immersive story of Half Life 2 is the key to success, with lots of replay value Singleplayer wise.
Unfortunately there is no multiplayer (no live) and there are no MODS like Counter Strike that came bundled with the PC version. These cons however should not stop anyone who owns the original Xbox from buying it, as it is a must buy.
