Excellent Game, but a little dated.
Pros.
Graphics: the first thing i noticed were the graphics were amazing the first time i loaded it. i was dumbfounded.
Time line: I thought the game had a decent length of story, its what episode 1 and 2 are for.
Enemies: the enemies were varied enough that i never got bored of playing.
Weapons: The weapons, with the exception of the first machine gun you receive all feel really unique, especially the gravity gun which was probably the best weapon in the game.
Puzzles: I liked having puzzles, i just wish there were a little bit more with a little bit more difficulty.
Replay: I felt as if the replay value on this game was endless, i have beaten it around 6 or 7 times and i still enjoy it.
Cons.
FPS: this fps is great no doubt, but was lacking in something truly separating it from the other fps shooters during HL2 release.
Story: I loved the story of the first HL but i felt a little let down by this one, but i still liked it.
AI: friendly AI left more to be desired for. during one scenario you get a squad of four friends to follow you, but there were stupid enough not to protect themselves.
Easy game for those who have played HL1
I wanted more, but felt satisfied with the ending.
